Parents Association

The Parents Association of St. Ciaran’s National School welcomes you and your child to our school.

Introduction

St. Ciaran’s N.S. has a vibrant and supportive parents association.

Our parents association was formed in 2009 and it works with the principal, staff and board of management to build effective parterships between home and school.

Activities

Cheque Presentation – Cheque presented by Parents Association Secretary Imogen Byrne to Pat Canty for visit of ice-cream van to our school.

Many areas have been contributed to by St. Ciarans parents association including

    • Bag Packing
    • CD Production
    • School Tracksuit
    • Book Rental Scheme
    • Purchase of Equipment for School
    • School Sports Day
    • Activity Evening in September

They have also made representations to Westmeath County Council regarding safety issues on approaching roads to the school.

Our parents association have also organised a parenting workshop, delivered by Geraldine Butler.

 

The Parents Association treated the whole school to ice cream cones! Thanks…. yum!!!
